Join us as an Assistant Relationship Director
- We’re looking for an excellent communicator to establish and build relationships with our existing and prospective customers
- Specialising in corporate banking, you’ll be booking appointments and preparing well researched collateral for customers and prospect meetings
- This is an opportunity to further develop an extensive range of skills, as we’ll provide you with externally recognised qualifications to help you excel in your role

**What you'll do**:
As an Assistant Relationship Director, you’ll be assisting with all services and sales portfolio administration activities, with a focus on attracting new customers. You’ll also look for opportunities to benefit our customers and prospects with products and services, all the while aiming to exceed their expectations.

We’ll look to you as a point of contact for other teams, so you’ll need to maintain a positive presence in other parts of the bank.

You’ll also be:

- Working with management to achieve business wins, by developing and managing shadow portfolios and customer referrals
- Demonstrating the effective use of contact and strategy planning tools
- Maintaining an entrepreneurial attitude with all existing and prospective customers

**The skills you'll need**:
In this role, you’ll need to have experience and knowledge of commercial or corporate banking, including knowledge of related systems, processes and products. You’ll also need to be able to work with limited supervision on routine banking tasks. Crucially, we’ll need you to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to keep a customer focused mindset.

You’ll also be expected to have:

- The ability to work to customer deadlines and expectations
- An understanding of credit and lending principles
- The ability to prepare high quality pitch documents and use thought leadership to bring insights to customers
