Within Business Services, we have a responsibility to monitor and analyse the performance of the BCB and CIB businesses across a broad range of metrics. As an Associate Director in the Performance team, you'll work in a highly collaborative way and enjoy seeing the influence of your work by managing and developing an extensive portfolio of MI & Reporting.

**Job Description**:
Core Purpose of the Role:
This is a great opportunity to join our team. You'll be working in a collaborative fashion driving effort to build, support and improve our reporting, all while working closely with wider reporting teams such as Data Services, Finance and Platform teams which will provide exciting new challenges.

You'd be responsible for managing the ingestion, maintenance, improvement, cleaning and manipulation of data in operational and analytical dashboards to drive performance improvements. You’d need an understanding of designing dashboard solutions, preferably with hands-on experience building data products within tight turnaround times.

What we're looking for:
A track record of the required data and reporting experience, as well as a "can-do" approach, capability of fulfilling a catalogue of requirements, and ability to effectively work with multi-disciplinary teams across the end-to-end customer journey.

You’ll have a strong organisational awareness and deep knowledge of dashboard design and key performance metrics. You appreciate and acknowledge the impact of certain performance metrics and can anticipate stakeholders needs and requirements. You'll need to show a real passion for developing new solutions and translating data into analytics-based dashboards whilst maintaining strong governance and control.

Essentials:
- Provides a range of outputs including modelling of data, accurate forecasting and giving advice to drive the development of new change, initiatives or products- Interprets complex data and leads the efficient and effective production of high-quality information, analysis and research, anticipating partner needs- Strong technical and financial skills, detail-orientated but able to analyse and distil insight from data- Experience of working on multiple projects in a dynamic delivery environment- Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy of change- You must be a tried and tested partner manager, adept at establishing and forming relationships with colleagues.- Inquisitive in nature, always looking for the right answer.- Makes sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems whilst considering future challenges and alternative solutions.- Deep and broad understanding of reporting solutions including PowerBI and Tableau- Experience with documenting data requirements, lineage and governance controls- Professional maturity, personal integrity and strong work ethics

Desirables:
- Analysis experience using a relational database (e.g. Oracle, Teradata etc.) along with an appropriate scripting or programming skill for data extraction such as SQL, SAS, R etc- Proven technical and team leadership- Knowledge of Commercial Banking
