Priory Hospital Bristol is an elegant 18th century country residence set in beautiful parkland close to the centre of Bristol, less than 5 minutes away from the M32 leading directly onto the M4/M5 motorway. Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group. It has 76 beds over seven wards varying from Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, Adult Psychiatric Intensive Care, Acquired Brain Injury, Huntingdon’s and Dementia, private addiction and general psychiatry, along with an outpatient therapy and daycare service
Reporting into the Hospital Director, the Associate Director of Clinical Services forms part of the Hospital Senior Management Team and, as such, contributes to ensuring quality indicators, care standards and regulatory requirements are fully satisfied.
The role will have overall responsibility for setting forward looking performance and quality standards, and reviewing existing processes through a suite of Indicators to track and monitor site progress. This as well as, proactively and continually leading and embedding quality throughout the service and service lines.
The Associate DoCS plays a key part in developing and delivering the Hospital Quality strategy, providing clinical leadership to the team.
The ADOCS has a key role in ensuring that standards of care are continuously at their best. They will take daily responsibility to ensure that Quality is at the forefront of all that we do. They will be involved in both Quality monitoring and auditing but also driving Quality improvement across the whole service by providing guidance and coaching to achieve the desired results. They will also act as one of the site’s Safeguarding leads. A responsible, flexible and proactive approach is required, whilst supporting the senior management team to further develop the services we provide.
As part of the Senior Management team will carry out on-call duties as directed by the Hospital Director.
