What is the opportunity?

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a high profile collaborative and empowered team within the Mortgages business, to drive improvements in the end to end UK Mortgage Customer Journey. You will build strong relationships across your third party relationships and the Home Buying and Ownership business and also have regular interaction with the Senior Leadership team.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain oversight of the end to end campaign to enhance the customer and Bank Of Ireland UK mortgage conveyancing process, ensuring risks are identified and appropriately mitigated

    Lead regular Governance and Oversight sessions in line with supplier processes; evaluating MI, identifying trends or root causes and implementing improvement actions.

    Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with external third parties and internal team members to support the successful delivery of the Mortgage strategy and deliver positive customer outcomes

    Maintain oversight of the end to end campaign to enhance the customer and Bank Of Ireland UK mortgage conveyancing process, ensuring risks are identified and appropriately mitigated

    Lead your relationships in line with Bank's supplier and procurement policies

    Effectively handle the budgetary aspects of your third party relationships

The Strategy, Governance and Risk department within Home Buying & Ownership works closely with a number of internal and external partners around lending, customer and proposition strategy. We drive and develop the Strategy for UK Mortgage customers and how they interact with the Bank of Ireland. We work closely with all areas of the wider business and key third party suppliers to ensure positive and fair outcomes for all customers while also supporting the delivery of the Bank's commercial objectives.
