**Distribution Planning and Coordination Manager**

**Location: Avonmouth**

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Job Level**: Managerial

A leading waste management company committed to sustainable practices. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Planning and Coordination Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in optimizing our haulage services.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Coordinate and plan project activities within the team, collaborating with stakeholders to implement changes to ways of working.

2. Research, identify, and implement improvements to distribution systems and processes.

3. Advise, train, and assist stakeholders in distribution systems and processes.

4. Engage with vendors and customers to promote the benefits of the TMS system.

5. Ensure the integrity of data within TMS and related systems.

6. Support Distribution-related SPOT 2023 taskforces.

7. Coach and mentor team members, colleagues, and vendors.

8. Extract accurate data from systems for relevant reporting.

9. Work closely with stakeholders to formulate and implement short, medium, and long-term plans.

10. Provide cover for the team when required.

11. Support phase two and future projects of the TMS rollout, identifying opportunities for business benefit.

**Knowledge**:

3. In-depth knowledge of the Steadtler TMS system and MM.

4. Financial awareness.

5. Strong communication skills.

6. Previous supervisory experience.

7. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

8. Strong attention to detail.

9. Proven track record of problem-solving.

10. Proven history of persuading/influencing stakeholders.
- Must have a Transport Operations CPC (National and International).
