**Lead Finance Administrator**
**Role Purpose**
**Financial Management**
- Ensure contract profitability is protected and that invoicing is carried out in line with contract terms and conditions.
- Support the operational managers to maintain their work in progress and debt profile.
- Manage and provide support and guidance to Finance Administrators
- Manage the credit note process in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in chasing outstanding debts, administering debt report, and liaising with necessary personnel to ensure prompt payments are received, where required.
**Reporting**
- Assist with the delivery of timely, accurate and user-friendly reporting, forecasting, and planning (both formal and ad-hoc) to support internal business decisions and drive improved performance.
- Provide support and information to the finance team during financial audits in relation to the departments' activities.
- Provide ad hoc support to the business area in any financial analysis as required.
**Contract Management**
- Provide ad hoc support to the business area in any financial analysis as required.
- Provide support to SFBP and AFB in finance reporting and administration.
- Making financial adjustments to wrongly booked items.
- Support the training and education of staff on Company financial systems.
- Uploading information to the client's systems as required.
- Manage and update client purchase order trackers.
- Work independently; taking day-to-day ownership of tasks required to fulfil your role.
**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
- Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organisation, and planning skills.
- Excellent computer and I.T competencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage several tasks concurrently.
- A background in finance / accounts.
**Office Location**: Birchwood - With Hybrid working flexibility
**Core Hours**: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm
