An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client as a HR, Training and Competence Coordinator, on a fixed-term basis for 12-months. Our client is an oil and gas service company.

This is a varied role in which you would split your time between HR and Training related activities.

Key responsibilities:

- Alongside Training & Competency Manager, being the point of contact for Training & Competence within the UK.
- Coordinate all training and competence administration e.g., training requests, training bookings, training feedback, system recording etc.
- Issuing induction training for all new starts globally.
- Become a super user of training and learning management systems.
- Liaise with departments to ensure training needs are met.
- Support and take a lead role in the HR administration process and work in all areas of the recruitment life cycle.
- Contribute to maintaining accurate and complete employee records and files
- Assist with the preparation for performance review process and actively be involved in both the 6- and 12-week employee reviews to ensure employees receive an effective objective based probation period.
- Works closely with other HR team members to identify, plan and deliver HR projects and improvements.
- Assist in the absence monitoring, maintaining and reporting to ensure all absences are recorded accurately.

Applicants should have previous experience in a HR function along with strong administration and people skills. Experience in developing training systems and materials would also be preferred but is not essential.
