People Associate

At Gamma we are transforming the way we work with our people. As such we have a newly created People Associate role to join our Shared Services team.
This is a key role within our People team, providing first class support and responses to our managers and teams ensuring we evolve and uphold our vision, values and employee experience across the business.
**What you’ll be involved in**:
- HR related administration support across the full employee lifecycle
- Administer all People related documents including contracts of employment, probation letters, flexible working requests etc.
- Assist in the onboarding process of new joiners to our teams.
- Managing the leaver process and working with other teams in Gamma to ensure a smooth process.
- Liaise with our background checking partner for references/employment checks are received promptly.
- Manage security clearances.
- Employee data management in our HRIS (soon to be implementing a new software)
- Oversee and respond to queries in our shared mailbox - responding in a professional and timely manner.
- Administration of benefits (e.g., long service, cycle to work etc)
- Proactively spot/implement opportunities to improve the team ways of working.
- Be an ambassador and role model with the Gamma values.
**What skills do you need to make an impact in this role**:
- Excellent communication skill and attention to detail
- Ability to deal with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong MS office skills, payroll exposure is a plus but not essential.
- Confident in building relationships with all levels of senior management
- Proactive, can-do attitude and able to work with your own initiative.
- Team player - is a must - we are a collaborative team, and like to have fun at work.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities - not being afraid to ask when you need advice.
- Resilient - some days there can be a lot going on - but a sense of humour helps along the way.

**This is a hybrid role based out of our Liverpool Street Office.**
