Job Summary:

As the Associate People Partner, you provide local expertise on People related matters by taking a hands-on approach to execute the People Strategy and contribute to a positive employee experience. You will help drive a high performing culture that supports Balyasny’s mission, vision, and values.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•Provide People support and advice to the organization as a primary point of contact, respond to requests and recommend effective solutions.

•Collaborate closely with the Global People Partners to foster a positive employee experience by assisting with the implementation of programs, enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.

•Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolutions and disciplinary actions.

•Support with the separation process and own off-boarding activities.

•Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees by partnering with legal and compliance as required.

•Assist with People metrics, analysis, and reporting’s to identify trends, provide information and insights to support decision making.

•Support the Global People Partners with key strategic projects and organizational development activities.

•Partner with the global People Team members to ensure a consistent approach throughout the employee life cycle. 

Qualifications:

•3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a dynamic fast paced financial company

•Solid understanding of HR best practices in a global, matrix environment and across HR generalist and CoE roles

•Good understanding of employment law, and regulatory requirements in the UK

•Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities and deliver results in a dynamic environment

•Strong desire to learn and high attention to detail

•Advanced in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint 

•Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

•Great sense of empathy, pragmatism, and a proactive mindset
