DHL Supply Chain are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join a small team to support on our Nestle contract in Wisbech.

Wisbech site is a change to the regular DHL warehousing site as we are primarily a production facility working with a well-known pet food manufacturer. The site has around 370 staff with additional temporary labour with a relatively small management team. This role will give you exposure to all areas of the business and help you feel like an important member of the site.

We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager who will contribute and provide support in the running of the Finance function You will support with month end duties, budgeting and forecasting as well as stakeholder management

- Supporting FM in their daily tasks including timely sales and purchasing
- Be the main point of contact for the operational team on site handling any queries
- Month end including journal posting & reporting the figures
- Ensuring adherence to accounting rules, procedures and timescales
- Ensuring smooth transition from manual to robotic solution
- Analysis of financial data and production of management accounting information for business including benefits tracking
- Present performance figures to the senior management team on site
- Continuous review of customer debt and cash allocation and escalate as necessary
- Track KPIs as and when requested by management
- Provide reports as and when requested
- Support Operational teams in provision of ad hoc reports
