We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic individual to work as an HR Project Officer within the University’s central HR function, working closely with the HR Director and the HR Senior Team and getting involved in projects, workstreams and initiatives of varying size and complexity.

**About the Role**

You will support the delivery of the HR Senior Team’s annual cycle of meetings and deliverables, leading the planning, development and delivery of departmental activities while providing outstanding professional support for senior colleagues in the department. You will support the HRD to prepare high quality papers, service departmental working groups and committees and source, synthesise and analyse management information and provide data analysis in response to specific needs. You will also line manage the HR Apprentice within the HR Director’s Office, taking responsibility for supporting and developing them through their CIPD Level 3 apprenticeship.

**About You**

You will have excellent project planning, design, management and implementation skills in addition to strong numeracy skills with demonstrable capability in the manipulation, analysis and presentation of complex data. An effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, you will also possess exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to solve problems, think laterally and have a flexible and pragmatic approach to a wide and varied workload.
