What You’ll Do:
Premier League Productions (PLP) are proud to be the production partner to the most watched football league in the world. Globally, we broadcast to 190 out of 193 UN member states, serve over 100 broadcast partners and our work is available to 704million homes. Our wide array of high quality output includes live matches, digital content, studio shows, promos and magazine programming, all delivered across multiple platforms

PLP’s Programming department is looking for a dynamic, creative, and team-orientated Editorial Assistant, who thrives under the challenge of producing cutting-edge sports content across a range of live and non-live studio and magazine-style shows. Your role wouldn’t stop there - we are looking for someone who has a thirst to learn new skills and challenges the status quo. This role will allow a committed person to make it their own, supporting the wider team of Assistant Producers, Producers and Senior Producers. Sport is an unpredictable medium and we can guarantee every day will be different and challenging. However, with the depth of experience available at PLP, we are committed to developing you to ensure you thrive in this exciting role.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Being part of PLP’s Programming Dept production team working across many aspects of live studio and magazine show output- Assisting on the editorial production of programmes for the Premier League- To plan, research and edit content for any Programming Dept programme or strand- Working alongside on-screen & senior staff to prepare analysis for all studio programming- Working on Fanzone to source worldwide phone and video callers and user generated content- To log and review rushes and select suitable material for editing- To supervise post-production as necessary- To work in a live studio environment- To organise and lead occasional basic ENG and Feature shoots- Responsible for adhering to compliance guidelines for broadcasters/clients as appropriate- You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job

You Will Have The Following Strengths:
- Experience of logging rushes and selecting material for edits- Understanding of the workings of a live studio environment and magazine shows- Excellent knowledge of the Premier League- Good general sports knowledge- Understanding of digital workflow- Understanding and experience of non-linear edit systems

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines- Strong editorial sense for stories- Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills- Computer literate- Excellent customer focus skills (representing the face of the company/programme to the public/potential contributors)- Understanding and experience of non-linear edit systems- Demonstrates good editorial judgment- Impeccable timekeeping- Shows initiative - able to prioritise and manage workload without close supervision
