What You’ll Do:
Premier League Productions (PLP) are proud to be the production partner to the most watched football league in the world. Globally, we broadcast to 190 out of 193 UN member states, serve over 100 broadcast partners and our work is available to 704million homes. Our wide array of high quality output includes live matches, digital content, studio shows, promos and magazine programming, all delivered across multiple platforms.
We are looking for an Access Planner to join our dynamic Access and On-site team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will help to deliver the Premier Leagues’ broadcast partners and PLP’s production teams with a ‘world-class’ service.
You will also oversee the co-ordination, administration, and help ensure we efficiently manage the delivery of the ICS’s, Press Conferences and Premier League Campaigns.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Work in close collaboration with the Club Liaison Managers and the Access team to organise shoots, ICS’s and Press Conferences
- Oversee the co-ordination and administration of the ICS’s and access sessions at Premier League clubs, training grounds and other UK locations, ensuring all necessary paperwork is in place and act as the main point of contact for crew and clubs during rostered weekends.
- Communicate to reporters and camera operators their daily tasks and whereabouts, including any logístical or editorial instruction.
- Working closely with both the Access & On-site teams to ensure that plans are communicated efficiently and effectively.
- Pro-actively liaise and communicate with internal teams to coordinate interview times, locations and filming requests, and react to any changes to the schedule.
- Play a pivotal role in helping ensure we efficiently manage the delivery of the ICS’s and Press Conferences.
- Occasionally oversee and manage ad-hoc production queries and duties
- Demonstrate a collegiate and collaborative approach and ensure the Access team work closely with all departments within PLP.
- Pro-actively suggest new ideas that add value and improve the ICS and access experience.
- Other duties, as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Head of Access and/or Production Manager.
- Opportunities available to work with the onsite team with Premier League Productions.
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
- Experienced in a logístical and organisational role, dealing with multiple stakeholders
- Previous experience in a customer/client facing role dealing with queries
- Experience in sport production or operations
- Collaborative and a commitment to working as a team
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills
- Previous experience of working to deadlines - able to work well under pressure, managing and prioritizing workload effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledgeable around football, with a focus on the Premier League.
Note:
- Occasional unsociable hours will be required, including scheduled weekend work, Bank Holidays and the Christmas period
- Flexible working hours will be considered, with WFH option available (preferably 3 days in office, 2 days from home)
- Some domestic travel will be required
