About Us:
We are a well known, long established, privately run property Company with a large portfolio of rental properties within Birmingham and the surrounding areas. We are looking for an enthusiastic Office Assistant with Credit Control experience.

The Role:
As Office Administrator/Credit Controller, you will be responsible for working within our office team to ensure the smooth running of the company and monitoring and collecting debts ensuring they are collected in a timely manner.
- Dedicated Company debt collector
- Assisting with answering incoming phone calls, dealing with maintenance and lettings enquiries, or forwarding calls to relevant member of staff where necessary
- Take payments from tenants and long lessees
- Distribute Ground rent and Service Charge demands.
- Process check out reports and upload documents to internal systems.
- Liaise with Company insurance Broker on both Company and Lessee polices. Ensuring that the required cover is in place and all premiums paid.
- Register new tenant’s deposit with the TDS
- Keep up to date with legislative changes and impacts of court decisions.
- Issue Section 8 & Section 21 Notices and attend Court where required on possession cases
- Highly customer focused and enjoys working as part of a team undertaking a range of tasks within the business
- Credit control experience
- Professional and polite telephone manner
- Excellent organisational / administration skills
- Well presented, articulate, and a good communicator
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Well organised and punctual
- IT literate on Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience in the property industry, particularly with debt collection would be an advantage
- Experience and understanding with Long Leases would be an advantage
- Experience of Arthur Property Management systems would be an advantage

Required experience: Office Administrator and Debt Collection Experience: minimum 2 years

**Salary**: £23,000 - £26,000 depending on experience

Hours: 8.45am to 5.00pm, with one hours lunch
