Compliance Support Officer

**The salary for this role is £21,189 - £22,369 per annum (pro rata) - 18.5 hours per week.**
Lancaster City Council Compliance and Asset Management Team is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who will enjoy undertaking a variety of administrative tasks. You will be a member of a team dedicated for ensuring resident safety in Council Housing stock and public buildings. This team is responsible for managing risks related to the “Big 6” - Asbestos, Electrical Systems, Fire, Gas, Lifting equipment and Water hygiene. You will interact with a range of repairs and maintenance services staff and colleagues within the overall Housing and Property service and external contractors.
This post will be based at Lancaster Town Hall.
The Council currently operates an excellent Flexible Working Hours Scheme which applies to this post. Subject to the needs of this business, this may allow employees to work between the hours of 6:00am -10:30pm.
- For internal applicants, this role will be considered for a secondment opportunity. The secondment of an employee from another Service can only take place with the agreement of the Manager of the Service the applicant is contracted to. When this role comes to an end, the successful internal applicant will return to their substantive role._
