About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Support Services team as a Student Support Officer (Welfare). As the first point of contact for welfare and wellbeing, you will provide accurate information, advice, and guidance to students during their studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive welfare support services to students, including individual information, advice, and guidance.
  • Assist in maintaining and overseeing the "under 18" welfare policy and procedures to ensure students under 18 feel safe and supported.
  • Maintain accurate student records and provide reports and management information as required by the Senior Management team.
  • Support the delivery of orientation week and present on various topics to students.
  • Assist with the arrival and registration of students, as needed.
  • Respond to basic information requests regarding accommodation provided by INTO.
  • Work with the Student Services team to deliver an all-inclusive social programme as part of a strong support network for students.
  • Promote and support the INTO Centre and business in a positive manner.
About You

This is a student-facing role that requires approachability and the ability to deal with a wide range of people from different backgrounds.

You will have excellent spoken and written communication skills, good IT skills, and strong observational skills and problem-solving abilities.

You will be committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young adults.
