**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students with autism spectrum conditions.

**Estimated Salary:** £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Job Description:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with autism, assisting in the development of social skills, communication, and independence.
  • Foster a supportive and understanding environment to help students manage their emotions and behavior, collaborating with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic development.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed, while participating in training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in autism support.

**Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with autism, preferably in a school setting, is highly desirable.
  • An understanding of autism spectrum conditions and effective support strategies is essential.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of young people are required.
