We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources & Compliance Officer to join our client’s team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving talent management initiatives, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of recognition and engagement within the organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the Head of HR to implement talent management strategies and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Provide policy advice and guidance to line managers and staff on recruitment, training, and development.
- Promote and implement Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and certification requirements.
- Work closely with the Head of Group Health Safety & Compliance and other stakeholders to support business compliance needs.
- Manage talent management and development functions, ensuring GDPR compliance and accurate payments.
- Drive policy development and produce informative reports on HR indicators, GDPR, and diversity.
- Provide HR specialist support at senior management level and handle general queries.
- Support organisational development and handle trade union relationships as needed.
- Report irregularities or non-compliance concerns to management promptly.
**Qualifications and Attributes**:
- Ideally educated to CIPD level 5 or above (or equivalent)
- Additional Health and Safety experience / H&S qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH) highly beneficial.
- Experience in a fast-paced commercial manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proven generalist experience at both strategic and operational levels.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing employment policies and procedures.
- Understanding of how talent management supports business strategy and motivates performance.
**Salary Range & Benefits**
The salary for this role is £40,000-£45,000. The company also offers a range of excellent benefits.
