**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
The role of Private Practice Administrator encompasses contact with patients, hospital consultants and insurance companies and requires someone who excels in putting customers first, with great attention to detail. An overview of the functions of this role include:
- Producing invoices and reminders (includes electronic-billing) using dedicated medical billing software
- Allocating payments
- Chasing unpaid invoices
- Balancing cash books
- Answering queries from patients professionally, promptly and sensitively
- Liaising with medical insurers promptly and efficiently
- Liaising with hospital consultants and secretaries
- Taking card payments over phone
