To provide highly efficient, professional and confidential Administrative assistance and Project Management Support to the Surgery Clinical Board Director, the Director of Operations and Director of Nursing. The post holder will provide the secretariat, Board Secretary role to the Surgery Clinical Board.

The post holder will be responsible for a full range of administrative and
organisational activities to support the Clinical Board. These activities will include managing the administrative processes for the Clinical Board including Clinical Board Governance processes, performance and workforce processes and proving secretarial support to the Clinical Board.

The post holder will also provide project support as part of a wider team, in relation to any specific identified projects as well as project management, secretarial and administrative support in the areas of Performance Management, Financial Management, quality and safety and the delivery of the Clinical Board integrated business plan, strategy and operational daily business.

In fulfilling this role, the post holder will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, using negotiation and persuasive skills as required.

The post holder will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must have proven administrative and project support skills and be committed to providing a quality support service, working with a high degree of professionalism and be capable of managing a very diverse workload working to tight deadlines.
