Payroll Administrator

Company pension scheme, private medical insurance & bonus scheme (15% annual bonus processed quarterly based on objectives)
**Principal responsibilities and accountabilities**:
- Update the systems with HMRC notifications - student loans, NINOs, tax codes.
- Processing incoming and outgoing P45s.
- Processing timesheets from agencies and issuing invoices to clients.
- Manage the Payroll inbox, allocating and responding to both internal and external quires.
- Running payroll for all frequencies.
- Processing and managing Court Orders deduction for the contractors.
- Process Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay.
- Process enrollments, contributions, and error correction for the pension.
- Importing bank files into the system and process the bank reconciliation.
- Deactivating inactive contractor’s accounts.
- Send payroll messages to contractors daily and post all payslips where necessary.
- Manage the expenses mailbox.
- Attach all expense forms and receipts to the system.
- Ensure that all expense queries are dealt with in an acceptable timeframe. Investigate and resolve problems/informing others to do so.
- Expenses claim recalculation.
- Research and keep up to date with HMRC expense claims guidance.
- To ensure that all expense policies are current and up to date and that the CSO team refer to this always.
- Assistance in admin duties: franking machine support and top ups, distributing posts, submitting energy and gas reading to suppliers on a basis monthly, checking purchases invoiced for office maintenance and post them into the system for payment submission.
