**Brief job description**:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Service Desk Apprentice with Retail Response based in Wetherby.

**Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of**:

- Using service management systems to handle the logging of service tickets.
- Advising clients on operating procedures and incident resolution.
- Monitoring system alerts and raising tickets to ensure compliance with service level agreements.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

**Skills Required**:

- Have some IT systems knowledge and experience.
- Relish the challenge of providing support services direct to end users.

**Personal qualities**:

- Be personable, self-confident and have good communication skills.
- Have a logical approach to problem solving.
- Be consistently reliable, industrious and punctual.
- Be polite and courteous at all times.
- Be enthusiastic and able to learn fast.
- Be self-motivated and able to use your own initiative to solve problems.

**Future prospects**:
The role offers a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship depending on performance.

**Training to be provided**:

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:

- Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure - physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.
