**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning and social interaction.
- Support individual children's needs, including those with special educational needs and English as an additional language.
- Foster a caring and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of materials and resources for lessons and activities.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to provide regular updates on children's progress and well-being.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
- A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- An understanding of child development and the ability to support children's learning through play-based activities.
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the role.
