About the Job

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team in Amble. As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a small class of KS3-aged pupils working at KS1 level.

The role requires planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils and allow them to make progress. A key aspect of this position is building positive relationships with pupils and teaching assistants to create excellent learning environments.

You will need to manage challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive, and consistent manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for assessing pupil progress and using varied methods of assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all learners and promote progress

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £155-£185 per day, depending on experience. The contract is full-time until the end of the academic year in July 2025. Start date is January 2025.

A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and knowledge of pupil assessment methods are essential skills for this role. Experience of utilising behaviour management skills and building positive relationships with pupils is also desirable.
