Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational SEN Settings in Amble. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational support to pupils on a full-time and long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualised support to pupils with special educational needs
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of pupils
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and other staff members to create a supportive learning environment
  • Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress

Requirements:

  • QTS and teaching experience in either primary or secondary school settings within the UK
  • Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress
  • Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
  • A positive and resilient attitude towards teaching and work
  • Experience of teaching within the UK
  • A genuine passion for teaching

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
