Job Description: We are seeking a Teacher for Special Needs Education to join our team at Prospero Teaching. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational SEN settings in Amble.

About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching three KS3 aged pupils who are working at KS1 level, planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons, building positive relationships with pupils and teaching assistants, and managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have QTS and teaching experience in either Primary or Secondary School settings within the UK. You should also have experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress, strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport, and a positive and resilient attitude towards teaching and work.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Location: The role is based in an inspirational SEN school in Amble, which supports pupils across the Secondary School age range. There are opportunities to support pupils across all year groups depending on your preference and specialism.
