About the Role

This is an incredible opportunity to work closely with students, teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality educational experiences. As a SEND teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learning, preparing learning materials and ensuring the overall well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver tailored support to meet the unique needs of each student
  2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  3. Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
  4. Contribute to the creation of engaging learning materials and resources
Requirements
  • Proven experience in supporting students with SEN in a educational setting
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in special educational needs or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate empathy, patience and understanding when working with challenging behaviours
