Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SEN Educational Support Professional to join our team at an inspirational SEN School in Amble. As a SEN Educational Support Professional, you will be responsible for supporting the learning of pupils in one of our settings on a full-time and long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching 3 KS3 aged pupils who are working at KS1 level
  • Planning and delivering engaging and informative lessons that inspire pupils and allow all pupils to make progress
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments
  • Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner
  • Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress

Requirements:

  • QTS and teaching experience in either primary or secondary school settings within the UK
  • Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress
  • Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
  • A positive and resilient attitude towards teaching and work
  • Experience of teaching within the UK
  • A genuine passion for teaching

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
