Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of students. In this exciting opportunity, you will be working as an HLTA across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a school located in Northumberland. The position is long-term, offering a chance to secure a permanent role and make a lasting impact on the lives of young minds.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools at Level 4 or above. They will be able to demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development and work collaboratively with the teaching team to support subjects in the National Curriculum. This may involve delivering planned interventions in subjects to support students in up-levelling their learning and development, and delivering planned lessons to a variety of classes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching assistant support across Key Stages 1 and 2
