**Job title**: L2 Help Desk Technician, full-time permanent role
**Salary**: £35-£45 DOE
**Location**: London
I am excited to share that I am currently hiring for a L2 Help Desk Technician for a fantastic client of mine. The company is one of the leading independent investment banking advisory firms in the world. Their advisory business focuses on matters of strategicsignificance to boards of directors, management teams, and shareholders - including mergers and acquisitions, strategic shareholder advisory, restructurings, and capital structure. They are looking to expand their London team hiring a L2 Help Desk Technician.
**Core responsibilities for this position are**:
- Assist with the monitoring of the unassigned queue/answering the phone
- Act as an escalation point to 1st line support and assisting the 3rd line team with all technical requests and incidents
- Assist the Help Desk manager with ad-hoc project work
- Ensure ticket quality is of the highest standard
- Ensure all incidents/requests/problems are maintained/updated daily, and escalated where appropriate using the Help Desk management system
- Assist in the maintenance and development of end user facing and internal department documentation.
**Ideally, you'd have**:
- 3-5 years experience on a busy help desk with extensive experience supporting end-users with software, hardware and network issues via phone and a Help desk management system
- Solid experience dealing with VIPS
- Experience dealing with high volumes of tickets
- Exposure to and good knowledge of ITIL
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Intermediate understanding of the use of Active Directory and MS Exchange
- Use and intermediate troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016
- Re-installing Operating Systems with imaging software
