**Principal Function(s)**
- Provide General Support to the Logistics/Sales Team

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provide General Support to the Operations/Logistics Team

Prepare and collate logistics documentation for outgoing product deliveries as per the Shipment Packing and Dispatch Record (To be checked by the Operations Coordinator/QA)

Prepare and print carton labels required for shipments

Make ferry bookings for the lorry

Arrange dry ice for irradiation and shipments as directed by the Operations Coordinator

Receive incoming packages from couriers and ensure the appropriate person is notified, promptly, of its arrival

Organise outgoing couriers

Make ferry bookings and arrange accommodation for production staff when they are required to work away
- Coordination of Customer Sales Orders through to Production and Final Delivery

Coordinates sales effort with sales management, production, accounting, logistics and technical service groups

Maintain the company’s open order book

Relay production and shipping schedules back to other sales team members so they can update customers as and when required

Maintain customer sales information
- Business development:
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships

Assessing the company's target markets and industries and developing strategies

to gain new clients

Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation

Generate leads and cold call prospective customers

Arrange meetings with prospective customers

Draw up client contracts

Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements and working

through differences to reach a positive conclusion

Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate lead, customer, and sales information
- Complete any other duties as reasonably requested by Operations Coordinator, Global Sales Manager or Managing Director

**Training, Experience and/or Qualifications**

3+ years experience in a relevant role

**Skills & Abilities**
- Excellent communication skills and possess excellent literacy and numeracy abilities
- Advanced user of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, in particular Excel and Word
- Demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Must possess excellent planning and organization skills
- Ability to work individually with limited supervision or as a member of a team
- Must be adaptable
- Must be cooperative and willing to help others
- Demonstrate a willingness and capacity to understand the basic principles of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
- Willingness to follow company policies/guidelines and instructions, particularly those set out in SBS Standard Operating Procedures

**Physical Requirements**
- Pass a medical if required

**Additional Requirements**
- Current drivers license
- This role may also involve working outside of normal hours and occasional weekend work

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
