We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, conscientious and flexible Band 3 Ward Administrator to support our inpatient clinical teams within the Acute Inpatient Services based at Hellesdon Hospital. The role will involve a range of administration duties to meet the needs of our clinical teams and service users.

NSFT provides child and adult mental health services, alcohol treatment, learning disability support, wellbeing and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

**Main duties of the job**:
We are looking for a Ward Administrator who is well organised, motivated and has good communication skills to join Acute Services.
- Demonstrate experience in data entry and management with an awareness of key performance indicators and a dedication to confidentiality.
- Effective team work skills and a commitment to the provision of a positive service user experience across an inpatient setting is essential.
- The role will include call handling, face to face liaison with service users and colleagues alike, data entry, typing, minute taking, filing and other general administrative office duties.
- Previous experience of Trust IT systems would be of benefit but not essential as all training will be provided.

You will be joining a demanding fast paced environment using the Trust’s EPR.
- Working hours will be 37.5 over a 5 day week, Monday to Friday.
- The position is based at the Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich with on site free parking.
- Occasional travel may be required and flexibility essential.

- Care Certificate - must be achieved within first 12 weeks of employment
- NVQ L2/3 H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC or to commence the framework within the first 4 months of employment

**Desirable criteria**:

- NVQ L2/3 in H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC VRQ
- VRQ L3 in mental health

**Experience**:

- Previous experience within the care sector
