**Business Administration Apprenticeship**

The post holder will be accountable to the Operations & Admin Manager’s and will be supported and mentored to develop in the role.

**Person Specification**:

- Have 4 x GCSE’s at Grade A-C or equivalent.
- Demonstrate an interest in administration/business support.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly both in person and via telephone to a variety of people.
- Ability to input data and figures into company systems accurately.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- A willingness to listen and learn.
- Ability to relate well to people.
- A desire for further personal and professional development.
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Polite and respectful to both customers and fellow colleagues.
- Be confident in dealing with queries.
- Develop skills to provide effective and efficient administration support to the team to help the Service Support, Admin & Accounts teams operate.
- Establish good working relationships with a range of internal and external colleagues and partners.
- To demonstrate a commitment to developing personal skills in accordance with the apprentice framework.
- To meet deadlines associated to progression through the full apprenticeship period.
- To complete assignments/projects which relate to the apprenticeship framework meeting target dates.
- To ensure the highest standards of customer care are met at all times.
- To assist in carrying out stock takes where appropriate.
- Logging and categorising customer calls on company systems.
- Set up new customers on company systems.
- Regularly checking mailboxes (both Toner & Service) logging requests as applicable.
- Obtain meter readings from customers and entering them on to company systems.
- Scanning and filing of business contracts.
- Answering incoming calls in timely and professional manner - forwarding any as required.
- Carry out ad-hoc duties as and when required.

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**

Training:
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard which includes:

- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
Via your ITEC tutor and on-the-job training, you'll get the opportunity to learn:

- Planning and organisation
- Project management
- Relevant regulation
- Policies
- External environment factors
- Training 2 days a month via Zoom
- In-house training and mentoring support
- Career path which could lead to a permanent position at the end of the apprenticeship.

**Salary**: £9,254.44-£21,122.34 per year
