Desktop Support Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Digital Services for 3 x Desktop Support Officers to support the I.T. requirements for the Vaccination, Primary Care and Community areas.
You will provide comprehensive I.T. support to the Primary Care Digital Services Support Manager in all aspects of the support of NHS Ayrshire & Arran I.T. systems and hardware. This includes travelling to NHS sites and maintaining I.T. systems and hardware in Vaccination, GP, Community, and other sites that NHS staff utilise.
The ability to understand complex information and diagnose system related issues by working in close collaboration with colleagues and working on within the Digital Services team and all services within the wider organisation are essential skills required along with the ability to work under pressure with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service delivery.
You will preferably have experience or knowledge of clinical systems used within Vaccination and Primary Care & Community Services and must
have evidential experience in an NHS I.T. support capacity. Extensive knowledge and experience of supporting Microsoft products including o365
also essential.
You must be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience.
**Hours**: 37.5 per week over 5 days.
A car driver is essential.
