**St Neots Health Centre** is looking for **Patient Navigators**

Are you looking to join a dynamic and friendly team in a healthcare setting? We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our busy administrative team at St Neots Health Centre. As part of our administration team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our surgery.

You will be a confident communicator with a friendly and welcoming nature, who is not put off by a fast paced and demanding environment. Prior experience within a GP practice experience is desirable but not essential,

**Hours: Fixed term (mat Leave) **37.5 hours available Monday Sunday, although shifts are predominantly Mon-Fri with one Weekend shift in every 4 weeks.

Hours vary from 8am-4pm and 12pm-8pm, set shifts can be agreed in advance.

**The job holder will have to**:

- Greet patients and visitors, advising them of their appointments and checking them in
- Answering telephone calls and managing patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar effectively.
- Issuing prescriptions and handling prescription requests from patients and pharmacies.
- Ensure the reception area is left tidy and ready for use by other colleagues, together with any hand-over information
- Complete the surgery administration, including registrations and deductions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Desirably have prior experience as patient navigator
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with office software.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
