Accounts Assistant

Michelle Denny Recruitment is partnering alongside a booming Stowmarket business, who are looking for an additional Accounts Assistant. The role is permanent and full time with hours of 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday and has a healthy salary which is dependent on your experience (full details available when we speak).
You’ll be working alongside the Accounts team to support the accounting functions across this busy and growing business - so busy in fact, that they urgently need another pair of numerical hands.
**Duties will include**:
- Answering accounts calls and associated administration
- Posting purchase invoices
- Hire contract management
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assist with the processing of purchase orders
- Match delivery notes to purchase invoices and obtain payment authorisations
- Process supplier invoices and reconcile monthly supplier statements
- Filing all invoices
- Answering general calls and forwarding enquiries to relevant business area
- Assisting with the specialist software (training provided, of course)
- Ad hoc support on various projects as they arise

**Experience**:
- You’ll need to have experience within an accounts or finance admin position and be confident using Microsoft Office and ideally, Sage 50. Friendly & personable communication skills will be key, as you’ll be liaising with a varying array of clients, suppliers and colleagues across the entire business.
The company is in a beautiful rural setting in the Suffolk countryside, so having access to your own transport is essential.
