**Role**:Purchasing Assistant
**Location**:Bardon/ Hybrid
**Salary**:Between £21,000- £23,000 pa
**Hours**:37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday Temporary (3 Month Contract)
Role Purpose: Working as part of the NRS Healthcare Purchasing team responsible for all aspects Administration.
**Key Accountabilities/Outputs**:
- Expedite all outstanding Purchase orders on a weekly basis ensuring system delivery dates are updated and accurate for all users to view.
- Obtaining and maintaining all lead times/Minimum order qty’s and minimum order values.
- Resolve delivery issues /POD’s raised by the warehouse by liaising with suppliers quickly and efficiently
- Ensure that all orders are complete, and that all data has transferred from ICON to SAP correctly.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Provide cover when other team members are absent.
- Take a proactive approach to ensure best practice is maintained and built upon on a day-to-day basis.
- This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and duties associated with this job role. The post holder is expected to undertake other duties, which may from time to time be reasonably required.

- Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and Procedures

- Have used an MRP/ERP in previous positions.
- Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner to meet timescales and deadlines is essential.
- Use of SAP is an advantage.
