Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Buying Administrator and Product Fit Manager to join our team in Coalville, Leicester. As a key member of the purchasing department, you will be responsible for supporting the Packaging Purchaser in various tasks, including purchasing, monitoring packaging materials, and company purchasing requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Packaging Purchaser in day-to-day duties, including purchasing and monitoring packaging materials.
  • Consolidate purchase orders and daily reports onto master spreadsheets.
  • Request and manage packaging artworks prior to order.
  • Manage product fit to ensure security and efficiencies in bulk production.
  • Raise orders for packaging components via manual or automated systems.
  • Assist the technical team in supplying relevant information to external printers.
  • Monitor and record packaging stock and wastage.
  • Liaise with teams externally and internally on order progress and delivery dates.
  • Understand the consequences of product changes impacting other business areas and communicate accordingly.
  • Liaise with partners in Turkey, China, and Italy to raise and manage orders.
