Regional Bid Manager

Job Description
">The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on bids, taking ownership of projects from inception to preferred contractor, and ensuring timely completion of technical and commercial elements. They will manage a bid team, liaise with design managers, and possess excellent commercial acumen to implement the work-winning strategy.
">This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering or construction management, with experience working with similar peer-group contractors in the local area.

- Liaising with Regional Managing Estimators;">
- Managing a bid team and collaborating with construction delivery teams;">
- Leading preconstruction design processes;">
- Developing and implementing a work-winning strategy;">
- Producing high-quality tender, preconstruction, and construction programmes.">
Requirements

- Strong leadership and communication skills;">
- Experience working in bid management or a related field;">
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the construction industry;">
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with stakeholders;">
- Highly numerate and possessing good written English skills;">
- Engineering/Construction Management background is essential;">
- Safety training – SMSTS (Desirable).">
