Job Description: Accounts Administrator Professional

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator Professional to join our accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including implementing Xero and other 'app stacks' for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Xero and other 'app stacks' for clients to streamline their processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in the production of monthly accounts and reports, reconciling balance sheet and P&L accounts with precision.
  • Prepare and post journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial data is up to date.
  • Manage accounts payable (including expenses and credit cards) and accounts receivable, ensuring smooth cash flow.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly supplier payments while overseeing credit control.

Requirements:
  • AAT Level 2 or above qualified, or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Love and knowledge of technology- Excel and accountancy apps.
  • Xero/Sage experience desirable.
