Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our team and work on various projects, including statutory accounts, consolidation, and compliance with IFRS and FRS101/102.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly consolidated results and analysis, quarterly reporting and annual submission for Holcim Ltd in line with parent reporting requirements.
  • Assisting in the production of statutory accounts, FRS101, FRS102 and full IFRS, along with coordination of external auditors and in-house tax department and various other finance functions/teams.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal accounting policies, procedures such as the HARP manual, and external regulatory requirements under IFRS, FRS101/102, Companies Act etc. Also supporting with the implementation of any changes to these policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse and verify financial information.
  • Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting external audits and liaising with auditors to ensure successful audit results.
  • Participating in projects such as simplification of legal entity structure/financials, continuous improvements, implementation of SAP ERP and reporting systems, as required.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate who possesses ACA / ACCA qualification with post-qualification experience, strong IT skills, and detail-oriented approach with effective planning and organisational skills.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, bonus, 25 days holiday + your local bank holidays (with options to increase), and other benefits recognising the contribution you bring.
