Quarriers Homelife Ayr Service aims to provide practical and emotional support to individuals living within the community who require mental health support or support with learning/physical disabilities. The service aims to enable individuals to achieve their potential and fulfil their life goals. We provide a person-led service and ensure that support is tailored to suit each person’s needs.

Quarriers Homelife Ayr Service specialises in providing day-to-day support to over 50 individuals across South Ayrshire living with mental health needs or physical/learning disabilities. The service is aimed at supporting adults within the community to reach their potential and achieve personalised outcomes that are tailored to their needs.

Our focus with the support we provide is that it is completely centred around the person. Our support includes:
Daily living support

Housing support

Support to access local community

Vocational support within educational settings

We are looking for Part Time (16 hours) Administrator, to assist the Project manager and Project workers across the service with all aspects of admin duties and I.T.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a long established service based in Ayr. The post would suit someone with child care or caring responsibilities we can be flexible in terms of days worked.

Even though this is not a care role you will come in contact with the young people supported at the service at reviews and residents meetings for which you would have to minute to a high standard.
- Communicate effectively with all departments within Quarriers.
- Maintain a competent filing system, ensuring that documents are speedily retrieved as required.
- Monitor and maintaining stocks of stationary.
- Work in a self-directed manner and where necessary seek guidance from line manager.
- Undertake any other duties or responsibilities which are commensurate with the post.
- Provide efficient and effective filing/retrieval systems within the project. All processes and systems are up to date at all times.
- Maintain an efficient and effective system that allows petty cash and project budgetary information to be provided in a timeous manner.
- Good Knowledge of: Microsoft Office, ie Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint and Outlook.
