Do you want to be part of an enthusiastic team delivering a first-class giving experience for donors to the University? Then we want to hear from you

You will be part of the Supporter Relations Team in the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni (OPPA) and will be responsible for a range of administrative and organisational activities to support the stewardship programme. In particular, you will liaise with student scholarship holders, co-ordinate scholarship and donor events, and write copy for a range of audiences, including donor reports.

We are looking for people who can:

- Empathise and build relationships with with a large number of scholarship holders at the University of York, engaging them with our work and co-ordinating their scholarship awards
- Organise events for scholarship holders and donors to the University of York
- Write clear, engaging copy for a range of audiences, including donor reports
- Effectively organise and prioritise own work and meet deadlines
- Be proactive in supporting the processes by which donations are agreed, accepted and recognised by the University
- Show commitment to supporting the team and our customers in the best possible way

**Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni**

We are looking for a Supporter Relations Officer to play a crucial role in the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni (OPPA). OPPA is responsible for cultivating relationships with philanthropic donors and volunteers and maintaining lifelong links with our alumni community through a range of benefits and services.

This role is available on a fixed term basis until 31 December 2023.
