**The Role**:
Are you excited about developing your career in prospect research? Join our growing Prospect Research team at the University of York and help to build a best-in-sector approach to prospect research and pipeline management. The Prospect Research team is developing innovative methods and taking on a critical role in the rapid expansion of fundraising and volunteering at the University of York.

As a Prospect Research Officer, you will be part of the Operations and Experience team, within the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni (OPPA). You will be responsible for leading a relationship with one of our Fundraising Teams, specialising your research and pipeline development in either the sector of Individual Philanthropy or Corporations, Foundations and Trusts. Additionally, you will help provide other research services including philanthropic due diligence.

The University is embarking upon delivering its mission to become a University for Public Good and has just made a significant investment to increase philanthropy and alumni engagement over the next 10 years as we look to establish a more representative and inclusive community.

- Experience of identifying and researching prospective donors, clients or customers

- Excellent professional judgement and discretion

**Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni**:
We are looking for a Prospect Research Officer to play a crucial role in the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni (OPPA). OPPA is responsible for cultivating relationships with philanthropic donors and volunteers and maintaining life-long links with our alumni community through a range of benefits and services.

The Prospect Research Officer will join an expanding team of creative, visionary and dedicated professionals. The role will work with colleagues to achieve ambitious new goals to increase philanthropy and volunteering and develop a sector-leading alumni engagement programme.

- Salary £30,478 - £37,099 pro rata
- Hybrid working (between home and office)
