**Job Purpose**: As a Service Support Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in our Service department, contributing to the achievement of company objectives while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and control workshop maintenance records, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for administration, an eye for detail, and a dedication to delivering exceptional service, we invite you to join our dynamic team.
**Role, Responsibilities & Duties**: In this role, you will:
- Proactively track and update engineering paperwork, both from the workshop and site attendance.
- Liaise with third-party service providers and suppliers to collect necessary job sheets and information.
- Gather photographic evidence of equipment damages for documentation.
- Manage and generate LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) reports, providing LOLER certificates upon request.
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Process and oversee service maintenance agreements, bulletins, and related documentation.
- Validate and process warranty claims from equipment manufacturers.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed, showcasing your analytical skills.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and maintain organised filing systems.
**Personal Requirements**:
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities by understanding complex issues and finding effective solutions.
- Possess a strong technical aptitude.
- A minimum of a GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Previous experience in an office environment, highlighting your familiarity with administrative tasks.
- An excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members.
- Exceptional organisational skills, allowing you to thrive in a fast-paced office environment where multitasking and prioritisation are crucial.
- A confident and positive 'can-do' attitude, with a commitment to going the extra mile to support colleagues and customers alike.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel, to streamline administrative processes.
