As Storesperson you will play a key part in maintaining daily production workflow to help achieve or improve on time delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring material deliveries are accurate and delivery of yard material is communicated to internal customers to ensure continuous production without delays. You will also be essential to ensure that containers are packed accurately for upcoming projects. Key to this role will be your ability to work collaboratively with your team, communicating order discrepancies to the Buyer and escalating any areas of concern to your Supervisor.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Unload materials into Goods In
- Check and confirm materials are according to purchase order; highlight discrepancies to Buyer
- Maintain material traceability and log accurate deliveries into ERP
- Attend and contribute to daily Stores meeting
- Communicate material arrivals to relevant function and update on any shortages
- Update Project material document as and when deliveries arrive to eliminate production delays
- Packing and unpacking of equipment for job site according to list given by operation / projects. Identify any missing or damaged equipment and update relevant departments.
- Record all incoming and outgoing RA and LG equipment and update database / maintain traceability.
- Store materials in respective designated areas or issue to relevant team
- Pick and issue materials as detailed on a parts list, electronically and physically, ensuring full material traceability
- Preserve materials to be held in inventory
- Maintain stores and yard areas housekeeping 5S
- Clean, service, inspect and testing all RA and LG equipment returned from job site.
- Identify and make recommendations on areas of improvement
- Participate in accurate daily cycle counting
- Carry out daily forklift inspections highlighting any areas requiring maintenance or safety risks
- Conduct all material movements in accordance with the company’s safe working practices
- Be fully familiar and conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times
- Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Forklift licence (desirable)

**EXPERIENCE**
- Working knowledge of stores (essential)
- Experience with rigging and rope access equipment (desirable)

**SKILLS, TRAINING OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE**
- Proficient in Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel) (essential)
- Proficient in updating ERP systems (essential)
- Proficient in updating JDE (desirable)
