Zippe Transport is a dynamic business based local to Bath. Due to the continued rapid growth of both Home-2-School and other Passenger Transport services, we are now seeking a Safeguarding and Compliance Lead to join our growing team.

We are excited to welcome aboard an ambitious Safeguarding and Compliance Lead, to join our agile and fast-moving business that prides itself on building teams for the future.
This role could be a job shared, so please include your availbity for working days.

**Main Duties - Safeguarding and Compliance Lead**:

- Manage and correctly deal with any safeguarding issues that arise, this could include working with LADOs in any area we operate.
- Maintain Driver compliance in line with operational compliance, including the management of key Driver documentation e.g. MOT and insurance certification.
- Conduct site visits and carry out spot checks on both Passenger Assistants and Drivers.
- Liaising and building relationships effectively with Local Authorities, Schools, Customers, Drivers & Passengers, through exceptional written & verbal communication.
- Support the process of onboarding Driver suppliers to ensure they are fully compliant and support them support Zippe.
- Manage the Zippe Team of part-time Passenger Assistants, to include but not limited to recruitment, performance and training.
- Work with internal and external professionals to create bespoke training for all Passenger Assistants and Zippe Drivers.
- Ensure the efficient delivery of our Passenger Assistants on Home-2-School Services in line with Zippe Passenger daily requirements, whilst accommodating varying amendments to schedules.
- Consider & propose progressive improvements to support the growth & development of Zippe.
- Interact and work collaboratively with all colleagues in pursuance of supporting the Zippe purpose.

**Do you have**:

- Experience in Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults
- An appreciation of the benefits of good processes & systems.
- Experience with using Microsoft platforms, Excel, Word & Outlook.
- An ability to problem solve with a ‘can always do’ attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team environment in addition to working independently.
- Attention to detail & accuracy in transferring information.
- Strong communication skills, and a personable approach.
- A driving licence is needed due to the requirement to travel.
- A willingness to adapt to the needs of the Zippe business.

**Nice to haves**:

- Highly desirable although not essential:_
- Experience in the Passenger transport market
- Experience in working with and supporting Sub-contractors
