Lead Auditor - Senior Financial Consultant

Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

• Leading and executing audit and review engagements for private and non-profit organizations.
• Reviewing the work of junior associates to ensure quality and compliance.
• Engaging with Boards of Directors and/or Audit Committees to present findings from audits and reviews.
• Preparation or review of compilation engagements.
• Government reporting, including GST/HST and payroll.
• Preparation or review of personal and corporate income tax returns.
• Addressing client inquiries and requests with added value.
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff members.
• Additional responsibilities and projects as required.

A successful candidate will possess:

• CPA designation.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit.
• A strong desire to expand their knowledge in business and taxation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong time management skills, capable of handling conflicting priorities.
• A high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A team-oriented and client-focused mindset.
• Integrity, promptness, and ethical conduct.

Compensation: $85,000 - $120,000, with overtime opportunities (commensurate with experience and reviewed annually based on performance). A comprehensive benefits package, including an RSP plan with company matching and participation in the firm's annual bonus plan, is also available.
