Lead Auditor - Senior Financial Consultant

Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Leading and executing audit and review engagements for a variety of clients, including private businesses and non-profit entities.
- Conducting meetings with Boards of Directors and/or Audit Committees to communicate audit and review findings.
- Preparation or oversight of compilation engagements.
- Compliance reporting, including GST/HST and payroll submissions.
- Preparation or review of individual and corporate tax returns.
- Addressing client inquiries and requests with insightful responses.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff members.
- Additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- CPA designation.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit.
- A passion for expanding knowledge in business and taxation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong time management skills, with the capacity to handle competing priorities.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A team-oriented and client-focused mindset.
- Integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct.
Compensation: Salary expectations range from $85,000 to $120,000, with overtime opportunities. This is commensurate with experience and is reviewed annually based on performance. A comprehensive benefits package, including a retirement savings plan with company matching and participation in the firm's annual bonus plan, is also available.
