**THE OPPORTUNITY**

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join as Financial Controller and provide critical financial and strategic support to the Managing Director and Senior Management Team.

Your role as Financial Controller will be very 'hands-on' and will involve managing a small finance team, leading all aspects of management accounting, financial analysis and reporting, and supporting the MD and Senior Management Team in executing the businessgrowth strategy.

As Financial Controller your responsibilities will include:

- Production of Monthly Management Accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow statement and full commentary - presenting to Managing Director and Senior Management Team
- Supporting day to day business management and the ongoing development of business strategy
- Providing the Managing Director with regular financial and business analysis reports
- Monitoring cash flow forecasting and business expenditure, identifying cost savings and reductions
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
- Overseeing a small accounts team responsible for ledgers, journals and financial transactions

This is a very hands-on involved role supporting the Managing Director and Senior Management Team, offering significant challenge and career progression into a Finance Director role.

The business is well established and seeking growth and the role would be suitable for either an existing Finance Manager / Financial Controller or an experienced Financial Accountant / Management Accountant ready for their first Financial Controller position.
